What's Included in Every Wedding Film Collection

Wedding videography collections include two or more cinema cameras, a fully edited 5-7 minute film with your choice of music, multi-track HD audio of your vows and speeches, and your raw footage (bring us a hard drive and it's yours). Films are delivered in 8-12 weeks, with sneak peeks available on request. Same-day edits - a finished highlight film that plays at your own reception - are available with minimum coverage hours. See current collections on our rates page.

Drone Wedding Video Coverage

Aerial footage adds a scale to a wedding film that ground cameras can’t — a wide establishing shot of the venue and its grounds as guests arrive, a slow rise over the ceremony as you say your vows, or a pull-back during the reception that shows the whole party at once. We use it deliberately, not as filler: usually one or two aerial moments woven into the edit rather than a whole reel of drone footage.

Every flight is operated by a licensed, FAA-compliant pilot, with the flight plan checked against the venue’s airspace rules and any property restrictions ahead of your wedding day. Some venues don’t allow drones at all, so we confirm clearance before promising aerial coverage for yours. It’s included with our Signature collection and available as an add-on to Studio Team packages — see current details on our rates page, or ask us whether your venue allows it.

One Team for Photo and Video

Hiring photo and video from separate companies means two timelines, two shot lists, and two people negotiating for the same sightline during your first kiss. Our photographers and videographers plan together, scout together, and shoot together - which is why our films and galleries feel like one story told in two mediums. It's also one contract, one planning call, and one point of contact instead of two. Planning both? Start with our wedding photography.

What Couples Say About Our Films

"Me and my husband felt like movie stars on the day of, and we look it from the absolutely STUNNING video and photos thanks to this team. They're chic, timeless - everything we wanted and more."

"Peter's video came out beautifully, and perfectly captured how fun our day was. Our wedding happened in the midst of one of LA's biggest rainstorms of all time, and Moses and Peter were such pros - they even incorporated the rain in a gorgeous way."

"The day goes by so fast, the photos and video are what you will really cherish for a lifetime! We get emotional looking at our photos and video because they truly captured the emotion and the moment so elegantly."

San Diego Wedding Videography FAQ

How much does a wedding videographer cost in San Diego?

In the San Diego market, professional wedding videography typically runs $2,500-$6,000+, depending on hours, cameras, and deliverables. At Lulan Studio, video can be booked on its own or bundled with photography - bundling is the best value, since one team covers both. Current collections are on our rates page, and 10-month payment plans are available.

How long until we receive our wedding film?

8-12 weeks after your wedding. Sneak peeks are available on request, and same-day edits can be arranged in advance.

What exactly is included?

Two or more cameras, a professionally edited 5-7 minute film with your choice of music, multi-track audio of your vows and speeches, and raw footage - provide a hard drive and all of it is yours.

Do you offer drone coverage?

Yes - drone coverage is included in our Signature package and available as an add-on to Studio Team packages, wherever airspace rules allow.

Can our film play at the reception?

Yes. Same-day editing is one of our favorite things we do - guests watching the morning's ceremony at that evening's reception is a room-stopper. Minimum coverage hours apply, so mention it when you inquire.

Do you film weddings outside San Diego?

We regularly film across Los Angeles, Orange County, Las Vegas, and Santa Barbara; other destinations may involve a travel fee.

Checking a date? We respond within minutes. Inquire availability or schedule a call. Still choosing a location? Explore the San Diego venues we love.
