Prize values are the sponsors' own figures. Details checked and links tested on October 22, 2026; entry times are our estimate for one standard entry. Sponsors can change or end a promotion at any time and their official rules govern. Apart from our own San Diego giveaway, Lulan Studio isn't connected to these companies, doesn't run their giveaways and earns nothing when you enter. Card photos are from weddings we've photographed and only illustrate each prize.

About WeddingWire. Its giveaways page lists no open sweepstakes right now. It has run Capture the Day, worth up to $20,000 toward vendors, and WeddingWire Rewards, which gave away $10,000 a month before it ended. We'll add the next one when it opens.
How to enter without regrets
DOBefore you enter
- Check the wedding-date window first. Most prizes only count if your date falls inside it.
- Use a separate email address for sweepstakes, so the newsletters don't bury your planning.
- See how the prize is paid. Vendor invoices and reimbursements are not the same as cash.
- Screenshot your confirmation and note the drawing date.
DON'TRed flags
- Pay to enter, or pay a fee to claim a prize. Real sweepstakes in the U.S. need no purchase.
- Give a card number or bank details to "verify" a win.
- Trust a direct message from an account that only looks like the sponsor.
- Message vendors you would never book just for bonus entries. The rules require real planning intent.
The short answers
Are wedding sweepstakes legit?
The big ones from The Knot, Zola, Crate & Barrel and Men's Wearhouse are real and publish official rules. In the U.S. a sweepstakes cannot require a purchase to enter, so a giveaway that asks for a fee, or for your card number to enter or claim a prize, is a red flag.
How long does it take to enter?
From about 20 seconds to a few minutes. We opened every entry form on October 22, 2026 and timed a standard entry: a short form takes about a minute, and creating an account and verifying your email takes about three. Bonus entries take longer.
Do we pay taxes if we win a wedding giveaway?
Usually, yes. Prizes count as income in the U.S., and sponsors generally send a Form 1099 for prizes worth $600 or more, including vendor credits. A tax professional can tell you how it applies to you.
What is a registry completion discount?
It is a coupon a registry gives you after the wedding for the gifts nobody bought. Zola, Joy and Amazon offer 20%, while Target and Crate & Barrel offer 15%. Each store sets its own time limits and exclusions.
Is WeddingWire giving money away right now?
Not as of October 22, 2026. WeddingWire's giveaways page lists no open sweepstakes. It has run Capture the Day, worth up to $20,000 toward vendors, and WeddingWire Rewards, which gave $10,000 a month before it ended. We will add the next one when it opens.
How often is this list updated?
Every month. We take down what has closed, add what has opened, re-test every link and re-check the registry terms on each store's own site.
Spend the savings on the day itself
If you're still choosing a photographer, let's talk through your date, your venue and your light. We'll send a proposal after the call.
