We photograph LGBTQ+ weddings the same way we photograph every wedding — by paying attention to what is actually happening in front of us instead of running a checklist written for somebody else’s day. That sounds obvious. In practice, most wedding photography is quietly built around one assumed structure, and couples notice immediately when a photographer is improvising around them.
It shows up in small things. Not asking who is getting ready where, and then being in the wrong place. Assuming there is a bouquet toss, a father-daughter dance, one aisle, two sides. We ask first, plan around your day as you have designed it, and never make you the one explaining your own wedding on the morning of it.
If it is useful, we are happy to talk through how family dynamics will be handled before the day — who is in the formal photographs, who is not, and how to make that invisible to everyone else. That conversation is part of the job, and it costs nothing.

Before you ask.
Do you photograph same-sex weddings?
Yes, and we have for years. You do not need to ask us whether we are comfortable with your wedding — you should be able to assume it, which is part of why this page exists.
Will you assume traditional roles in the timeline?
No. We ask how you want the day structured and build the plan from your answers. If there is no aisle, no bouquet toss and no first dance, that is simply your timeline and we photograph it as designed.
Can you help with difficult family situations?
Often, yes. If certain people should not appear in the same photograph, tell us in advance and we will manage the formal portraits so it never becomes a moment anyone has to navigate in front of guests.
Do you offer film and video too?
Yes. Real 35mm film coverage and cinematic video are available on any wedding — the same options, with no difference in how they are offered or priced.
