Palm-lined estates, Tudor gardens and legendary five-star hotels — one of the most photographed square miles in the world, shot on film and digital.

Estates. Gardens. Five-star rooms.

Getting married in Beverly Hills

Few addresses carry the weight of Beverly Hills. Inside the 90210 and neighboring Bel-Air you have white-glove five-star hotels, storied garden estates and manicured grounds built for a grand celebration — and, unusually for Los Angeles, most of them sit within a few minutes of one another, which makes a multi-location day genuinely workable.

The economics matter here. Most luxury hotel weddings are driven by food-and-beverage minimums rather than a flat rental fee, while the city-owned Greystone Mansion remains the iconic exception on a straightforward rental — and one of the most photographed estates in California. Knowing which model you are in changes the whole budget conversation.

Local knowledge

What we know about shooting here

Three things that change how a Beverly Hills day is shot.

Greystone is permitted, and interiors are out

The mansion is city-owned parkland. Photography on the grounds is permitted and the formal gardens, terraces and reflecting pond are the reason to be there — but the interiors are not part of a normal wedding booking. We plan the whole portrait route outside, which is no hardship at all.

Hotels run on minimums, not rentals

At the Beverly Hills Hotel, Hotel Bel-Air and the Montage, you are usually buying a food-and-beverage minimum rather than renting a room. It changes how guest count, timing and even the length of coverage should be planned.

Everything is close together

Getting ready at one hotel, portraits in a garden estate and dinner somewhere else is realistic here in a way it is not in most of Los Angeles. We often build in a second location because the drive is genuinely five minutes.

Beverly Hills wedding photography FAQ

Can we photograph inside Greystone Mansion?

Not as part of a standard wedding booking — the interiors are managed separately by the City of Beverly Hills. The formal gardens, terraces, courtyards and reflecting pond are what you are there for, and they are more than enough for a full portrait session.

Why are the hotel prices quoted as minimums?

Because that is how the five-star hotels here sell weddings: a food-and-beverage minimum rather than a flat venue rental. Your guest count and menu drive the number. Greystone, being city-owned, is the notable exception on a straightforward rental.

Can we use more than one location in a day?

More easily than almost anywhere else in Los Angeles — the estates and hotels sit minutes apart. We regularly build in a second stop for portraits without putting the timeline at risk.

Do you cover Beverly Hills Courthouse ceremonies?

Yes. If you are marrying at the courthouse rather than a hotel or estate, the Los Angeles courthouse page covers how that day runs, including the ceremony room rules.

When will we get our photographs?

Four to eight weeks, hand-edited and color-graded, in a full-resolution online gallery that never expires.
