Las Vegas
Wedding Photographer
Cinematic, magazine-worthy weddings — shot on Leica, Hasselblad & other film cameras.
Lulan Studio
Lulan Studio photographs weddings in Las Vegas — chapel elopements on the Strip, ballroom celebrations at the resorts, and desert ceremonies out past the valley. We shoot 35mm and medium-format film alongside digital, and we travel in from Los Angeles for Vegas weddings, which are as often a Tuesday as a Saturday.
Film, neon and desert sun
Las Vegas is a city of hard sun and hard neon, and film is what stops either from looking cheap. Midday desert light that blows out on a sensor holds its detail on negative, and the sign glow after dark comes back rich rather than radioactive. Shooting film and digital together means we can work from noon in the canyon to two in the morning on the Strip without the look falling apart.

Every tradition, any day of the week
Vegas draws families from everywhere, and we photograph the full range — Indian ceremonies at the resorts, Persian Sofreh Aghd tables, Chinese tea ceremonies in a suite before the chapel slot, and plenty of couples who elope with nobody there at all.

The chapels are still the reason many couples come here, and they are not all the same. A Little White Wedding Chapel is the one everyone pictures — the Tunnel of Love, the neon sign, ten-minute slots that run all day. Little Church of the West, on the other hand, is the oldest standing structure on the Strip and photographs like a film set, all dark timber and candlelight. Chapel of the Flowers in the Arts District offers several rooms and a garden, and the Bellagio wedding chapel brings resort polish to a small ceremony. All of them run to a schedule, and knowing how much time you actually get is most of the job.
For a full celebration, the resorts carry it — ARIA Resort & Casino, Wynn Las Vegas, the Venetian Resort and Caesars Palace all have ballrooms, private terraces and enough interior variety to shoot a whole day without leaving the building. The best Vegas photographs, though, usually happen once you get away from the Strip. Red Rock Canyon is twenty minutes west and turns deep red about an hour before sunset, Red Rock Resort and the Red Rock Country Club put the escarpment behind you with a shorter drive, and Springs Preserve gives you desert botanical gardens without leaving the city.
