Pasadena
Wedding Videographer
Cinematic Wedding Films & Same-Day Edits
The architectureis part of the cast.
Pasadena weddings happen inside buildings that were designed to be looked at — Craftsman woodwork, Beaux-Arts staircases, courtyards and colonnades that were built long before anyone thought about where a camera would stand. That is a gift and a constraint at the same time.
Interiors here are often darker than they feel to the eye, and the good ones are protected, which means no light stands drilled into a historic floor. We film with fast lenses and cameras that hold up at high sensitivity, so the room looks the way it looked to you rather than the way a bare video light would have made it look.

Before you ask.
Are there filming restrictions at Pasadena’s historic venues?
Often, yes. Many are protected properties with rules about lighting, rigging and where a crew may stand. We confirm the restrictions with the venue in advance and plan a setup that works within them rather than discovering the limits on the day.
Can you film in low light without making it look like video?
That is most of the craft here. We use fast prime lenses and cameras with real high-sensitivity performance instead of flooding a historic room with LED panels, which is what makes wedding video look like wedding video.
Do you cover San Gabriel Valley churches?
Yes — San Gabriel Mission, St. Gabriel and Throop among them. Church ceremonies have the strictest movement rules of any venue type, so we film them from fixed positions with independent audio on the officiant.
