Our wedding coverage runs anywhere from two to sixteen hours on the day, built around your timeline. Every collection is fully customisable — hours, team size and deliverables are set around what your day actually needs rather than a fixed package. Every collection includes hand-finished color grading, a monochrome version of every image alongside the full-color one, timeline-building help before the day, full-resolution files with personal print rights and no watermarks, and a lifetime gallery — and there is no cap on the number of edited images we deliver.

It depends on how many hours of coverage you need, whether you add videography, and how large a team your day calls for. We typically deliver 100 edited photos per hour of wedding day coverage, and there is no cap on the final number — you receive every image we edit. You can see what a full day looks like on our wedding photography page.

Early selects are available on request. If you would like finished photographs on the night itself, same-day photo editing delivers twenty to fifty fully edited images before the last dance, and is one of the Signature Photography add-ons on the rates page.

Yes, the client will receive personal copyrights to their images, so you are free to print and share them yourself. If you would rather we design and print for you, see prints and albums. If a venue, vendor or publication wants to use your photographs commercially, that needs a separate license — see image licensing.

No, we do not have watermarks.

Our turnaround time for wedding photos is 4–8 weeks after the event date. So if you are wondering how long it takes to get your wedding photos back, plan on four to eight weeks from your wedding day. If you need the gallery sooner, priority editing is an add-on on either photography collection, and same-day photo editing puts a set of finished photographs in your hands on the wedding night itself. Absolutely, we think that privacy is important for everyone. Every gallery is private and passphrase-protected as standard. If you want to go further, a full privacy option keeps your images off our website, our social channels and any magazine submission entirely — it is listed with the add-ons on the rates page. Just let us know what your preferences are when you get in touch.

Unfortunately, we do not provide unedited or raw photos.

Typically, I will be the primary photographer in charge of the bride getting ready, details, & romantic portraits. The second shooter typically is in charge of family formals, groom getting ready shots, and provide a 2nd angle for the coverage. You can meet the photographers who shoot with us.

Yes — a second shooter is included with most of our wedding collections, so both sides of your day get covered at once. Check which collections include one on the rates page.

Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll send over a contract along with a retainer to officially reserve your date on our calendar. We only take on one wedding per day, so your date is secured on a first-reserved, first-served basis once your signed contract and retainer are received.

Many couples begin booking their wedding photographer 9–12 months in advance, and popular dates (especially Saturdays in spring and fall) across LA, Orange County, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Santa Barbara can fill up even earlier. Since we only take on one wedding per day, we recommend reaching out early to check our availability and secure your date.

Yes! We love engagement sessions — they’re a relaxed, low-pressure way to get comfortable in front of the camera (and with your photographer) before the wedding day. A session is $747 on its own, or $497 added to a wedding collection, and covers locations of your choosing, as many outfit changes as you like, and a fully edited gallery with personal print rights and no watermarks. Some collections include one, and if yours doesn’t, you’re welcome to add one on after signing your contract. Yes — multi-day South Asian celebrations are one of our specialities, from the mehndi and sangeet through the baraat and reception. Yes. The Elopement & Courthouse Collection starts at $997 and covers one hour with one photographer or one videographer — your choice — with travel included. See our elopement photography page, or micro wedding coverage for a slightly larger day. Courthouse weddings are covered in Los Angeles, Laguna Hills, San Diego, the Old Orange County Courthouse and the Santa Barbara Courthouse, and we also photograph Malibu and downtown Las Vegas elopements.

Yes, we do have “off-hour” fees that apply when the photographer and/or videographer are not capturing your event. Please make sure to let our team know if you plan on having downtime. Coverage blocks are set out on the rates page.

If you need to have additional hours of coverage on your wedding day, do not worry, we have it covered! You can let your wedding coordinator know and they will communicate that to us. Please give us as much notice as possible! According to our contract, an additional hour will be billed. We would appreciate payment on the week of your wedding. Hourly rates are listed with each collection on the rates page.

Rain or shine, we come prepared. If the forecast looks uncertain, we’ll work with you and your venue or planner ahead of time to line up a beautiful backup spot for portraits, indoors or under cover, and adjust the timeline as needed. Some of the most romantic, memorable wedding photos happen in the rain, so we’re always ready to adapt and make the most of whatever the weather brings.

Our home base is Downtown Los Angeles, and we primarily serve couples getting married in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Santa Barbara. We also love traveling beyond our home base for destination weddings — just reach out with your location and date and we’ll let you know about availability (additional travel fees may apply).

Both, and many weddings are covered hybrid. Alongside digital we shoot 35mm film and Leica and Hasselblad 120 film, and there is a dedicated set of film work in the Leica gallery.

We edit in house. Every gallery is edited and colored by our own team, which is how the finished work stays consistent with the portfolio you booked us from.

We have never had to cancel a wedding. Because we work as a full team of photographers and videographers rather than as a single shooter, there is always someone able to step in — you can see the whole team here.

Yes. Most bookings end up customized in some way — different coverage hours, a different size team, or photo and video running on different schedules on the same day. The collections on our rates page are the starting point; schedule a call and we will quote the exact hours you need.

Please do. Send it over and our studio planner will pass it to the team covering your day so everyone has it in advance. It is most useful for family groupings and for anything that is not a standard part of a wedding day.

Yes — an open-air booth with an on-site attendant, your choice of backdrop, a customized print template, a themed prop station, a DSLR camera with professional studio lighting, unlimited instant prints in color or black and white, photo filters, setup and breakdown, and an online gallery. Prints are 2x6 with a 4x6 upgrade option. Ask us for current photo booth pricing and hours. If what you have in mind is a photographer roaming the party handing out instant prints rather than a booth guests queue at, that is our Polaroid photographer add-on instead.

Yes. A content creator is an additional member of our crew who films your day on a phone, working from the same call sheet as your photographer and videographer so nobody is competing for the same corner of the room. Everything filmed comes back to you raw and unedited within 48 hours, with edited reels following after that, in both vertical and horizontal. Most weddings book between five and nine hours of it. It is added to a photo or video collection rather than sold on its own — see our wedding content creator page.

Eight on Studio Team Photography and ten on Signature, all optional and quoted with your collection: a Polaroid photographer handing instant prints to your guests, real film alongside the digital coverage, priority editing, albums and prints, multi-day coverage, an engagement session, rehearsal-dinner and next-day-brunch coverage, and a full privacy option. Yes, as an add-on on either photography collection. A photographer roams the party with a Polaroid camera and hands 80 to 100 prints to your guests through the night. One shot makes one print, and that print goes home with the guest who is in it — it is something you give your guests rather than something that comes back to you at the end of the night. On a larger wedding more than one photographer can run it. See the Polaroid wedding photography page.

Yes. Gallery-wide skin retouching applies professional facial retouching to every delivered image rather than a chosen few, and is one of the Signature Photography add-ons. Standard editing already includes hand-finished exposure, white balance and tone curves, with accurate skin tones for every complexion — never a preset dropped on the batch. Removing an object or a person from a frame is a different thing and is not part of standard editing.

Yes. A sangeet, a mehndi, a tea ceremony, a welcome party or a second reception can all be covered by the same team in the same style — see our multi-day wedding photography page and our South Asian wedding coverage. The rehearsal dinner and the next-day brunch are covered by a separate session, priced on the rates page.

We require a non-refundable deposit upon booking, however, do not expect full payment until the day before your event. We also offer a 10-month payment plan that breaks up the total payment if that is more convenient for you. Collection prices are listed on our rates page.

We accept credit card, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, cash, and check. You can start the booking process here.

No, we do not have any additional service fees.

Unfortunately, no we do not do any cash discounts.

Yes, we have a Cal Sales Tax due to providing copyrights. The Cal Sales Tax is the basically the sales tax applied for all sales made in Los Angeles.

Unfortunately the deposit is non-refundable. However, you may be able to use that deposit toward a different shoot such as a portrait session.

We can put a soft hold on it, but a date is only secured once the signed contract and retainer are in. We take one wedding per day, so if another couple signs for the same date first it goes to them.

The due date is the last day to pay, but you are welcome to pay any time before it. If you are on a payment plan you can pay ahead of schedule too.

Yes. Each of the four wedding collections can be split into ten interest-free monthly payments — $349.70 a month on the $3,497 collections, $499.70 on Signature Videography and $599.70 on Signature Photography. The monthly figure is listed with each collection on the rates page.

Both are $747 on their own, or $497 added to a wedding collection. An engagement session covers locations of your choosing and as many outfit changes as you like, months before the day. The rehearsal option covers the rehearsal dinner, the welcome party and the next-day brunch, photographed by the same artists as your wedding and delivered in one gallery alongside your wedding images. Both are photography, film, or both, and both are on the rates page.

The Elopement & Courthouse Collection starts at $997 for one hour of continuous coverage with one photographer or one videographer — your choice. It includes the ceremony, portraits and the walk afterwards, full color and black and white edits, a lifetime gallery and travel wherever the two of you are going. The gallery will not expire — every Lulan Studio gallery is a lifetime gallery. From it you can download, share, and order prints and albums whenever you like.

Yes, you will have the option to send the link to anyone you would like.

Yes, we do sell prints and albums, you can purchase them here.

Once you’ve made a purchase, you may use the gallery to select photos you would like to be included in the album, then we will design, proof, print and deliver your album.

Yes, you can add on items at any time — sizes and page counts are on the prints and albums page.

Once the design is approved, shipping will take about 3-4 weeks.

Open your gallery and click the download arrow — it will walk you through downloading every image in one go, rather than saving them one at a time.

Yes. The JPEGs in your gallery are full resolution, and every image in it has already been edited and colored.

Your online gallery is a lifetime gallery and does not expire. We also hold the original RAW files on our own storage for a year after the wedding in case a re-edit is needed — so it is still worth downloading your own copy of the gallery as a backup.

Yes. If the color or the grade is not what you expected, tell us and we will re-edit, including a gallery-wide re-edit if that is what it takes. We can also convert individual images between color and black and white, although an image shot on a dedicated monochrome camera cannot be turned into color. Please send re-edit requests as soon as you can after delivery.

Retouching of that kind — taking a guest, a light stand or another vendor out of the frame — is not part of standard editing. Send us the image anyway and we will tell you honestly what is realistic.

The number depends on the album size you have chosen — we will confirm the exact count for yours, and let you know if you have over-selected. Once the design is drafted you review it and we pass your revisions back to the designer before anything goes to print. Sizes and page counts are on the prints and albums page.

We do submit weddings for publication. Some publications require exclusivity, so galleries have to go out one at a time and the process can take a few months. We will usually ask you to fill in the wedding details and vendor list, since you have that to hand and can describe the day in your own words. Ask us how submission works with your collection when we build your quote.

Three things. The Heirloom Album is a lay-flat book under a luminous crystal-glass cover, flush-mount printed in a twelve-color archival pigment process on real silver-halide paper, hand-mounted on 1.1 mm pages and bound by boutique binderies. Metal float frames are archival giclée prints on museum-weight metal in black or gold, at 11×14, 20×30 and 24×36 inches, delivered assembled and ready to hang. Hand-painted oil portraits are commissioned from a single frame of your gallery, gallery-stretched and framed, from $499. Sizes, page counts and an album estimator are on the prints and albums page.

Album design and shipping are included in the album price. You choose the images from your gallery, we design and proof the layout, you send revisions back to the designer, and nothing goes to print until you approve it. Sizes and page counts are on the prints and albums page.

Yes. Every collection delivers both a full-color and a monochrome version of the images we edit. We can also convert individual images either way after delivery, although an image shot on a dedicated monochrome camera cannot be turned into color — you can see which of our cameras those are, and more film work in the Leica gallery.

Our studio planner reaches out about a month before the wedding to build the photography timeline with you. After that call you can schedule a second one with the creative team to talk through the look of the day and anything specific you want captured.

Yes. Photographers are usually assigned after booking, and if you have someone specific in mind we will do our best to match you. Once your timeline call is done we put you in touch with the person leading your day. You can see who shoots with us here.

Yes, at any point before the day. Extra hours are priced per team member, so the cost depends on how many people are covering your wedding. Message us and we will update your proposal with the current rate. Add-ons can be layered on at the same time — an engagement session, extra days, a content creator, or albums and prints. Tell us as soon as you know. If we are free on the new date we move your contract, your retainer and any payment plan across to it — couples have postponed by more than a year with us and kept everything intact. If the new date is already booked we will tell you straight away rather than leave you waiting.

Yes, and it is routine — we are asked for this most weeks. Forward the form, or tell us who the certificate should name, and we will usually return it the same day. We have already worked at most of the venues in our venue directory.

Some do. A number of county parks, gardens and beaches require a photography permit, and the application normally needs our certificate of insurance attached. We hold permits for locations we shoot often and can supply insurance documents for the rest — tell us the location early and we will check before you lock in a date. Any time after you book. Saturdays are almost always taken by weddings, so we recommend a weekday — ideally at sunset if you are working around office hours. Sundays are sometimes possible. Leave enough time for editing if you want the photos for save-the-dates.

Yes, that is fine. Just allow for the change within the session time so it does not eat into shooting.

Email us and we will resend the portal link. The auto-generated username sometimes does not work, so we can switch you to a name-based one, or change the name on the account if it was set up under the wrong person.
