About Little Church of the West
Opened in May 1943 as part of the Hotel Last Frontier, the Little Church of the West is a Late Gothic Revival chapel built entirely of California redwood to resemble a frontier-town church. It sits on roughly an acre of manicured grounds at the quiet south end of Las Vegas Boulevard, between Mandalay Bay and the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, and is the only structure on the Strip listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
