Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens is a wedding and event property in Fallbrook, in North San Diego County, built around a heart-shaped lake, manicured botanical gardens, and the stately Beverly Mansion. Over the years it has grown into one of the region’s most-booked wedding destinations, giving couples a choice between an elegant mansion ballroom celebration and a garden-and-tented-pavilion affair on the same grounds. Its scale and variety of settings make it especially popular with larger weddings and multicultural celebrations. Few Southern California venues pack this much visual variety into one property — a lake and Victorian gazebo, a Mediterranean-style garden with its own waterfall, a rustic stone bridge, and a mansion with a sweeping grand staircase. Getting Ready at Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens
Grand Tradition gives couples true side-by-side getting-ready suites: a Bride's Salon with vanity mirrors and comfortable seating for the whole prep crew, and a separate Groom's Lounge with a pool table and lounge seating for the groomsmen. Both suites are typically set up a few hours before the ceremony with light bites and champagne, giving our Lulan Studio team plenty of time to capture candid prep moments, detail shots, and a first-look reveal without ever having to rush.
Couple’s Session at Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens
With acres of grounds to work with, we build an entire portrait session around Grand Tradition's signature spots: the heart-shaped lake and its Victorian gazebo, the Mediterranean-inspired Compass Garden and its waterfall, the rustic stone bridge tucked into the gardens, and the Beverly Mansion's grand staircase for a more formal, editorial look.
Wedding Ceremony at Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens
Grand Tradition offers three distinct ceremony sites. At Beverly Mansion, couples exchange vows at the Lakeside Gazebo on the peninsula of the heart-shaped lake — with the option of a horse-drawn carriage processional — or in the Mediterranean-style Compass Garden. At Arbor Terrace, ceremonies are held in front of a multi-cascade, black-rock waterfall tucked deep in the gardens.
Wedding Reception at Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens
Couples choose between two full reception venues. The Beverly Mansion's Crystal Ballroom, lit by Swarovski crystal chandeliers, seats up to 300 guests for a classic ballroom affair. The Arbor Terrace reception is held in a satin-draped tented pavilion with an elevated stage, a small onstage waterfall feature, and a fireplace, seating up to 230 guests.
