Los Coyotes Country Club
A Mediterranean-inspired Buena Park golf club offering a lakeside ceremony lawn, terrace cocktail views, and an 18-foot-ceiling ballroom with in-house catering for full-service weddings.
About Los Coyotes Country Club
Los Coyotes Country Club in Buena Park wraps rolling golf-course grounds around a Mediterranean-style clubhouse. Couples marry on a flower-lined lakeside lawn, sip cocktails on a flagstone terrace overlooking the fairways, then move into a ballroom with 18-foot ceilings, French doors, and garden views. All-inclusive packages bundle in-house catering, bar, and valet. It delivers a classic country-club wedding with genuine variety of settings — water, golf views, and a grand indoor ballroom — at pricing couples repeatedly call reasonable for OC. In-house catering and packages simplify planning, and coordinators like Selina and Hannah earn repeat praise.
What couples love
Couples call the grounds stunning and elegant, with the terrace cocktail hour over the golf course a standout, classy without feeling dated. In-house catering drew consistent praise for filet, salmon, and chicken marsala, with menu flexibility for dietary needs, and packages include valet parking. Coordinators such as Selina, Hannah, and Jennifer were repeatedly described as professional and detail-oriented, and the venue is a Couples' Choice Award winner.
Good to know
The most common complaint is communication, with couples reporting it took weeks to reach their coordinator during planning. Service inconsistencies surfaced in reviews, including guests waiting up to 1.5 hours for meals and desserts not reaching every table. Reviewers flagged facility upkeep and dim indoor lighting, plus billing issues like disputed bar charges and errors on paperwork.
What a wedding at Los Coyotes Country Club costs
Los Coyotes sells all-inclusive packages through its events team rather than a site fee, and the club does not print prices on its own site. These are the directory figures, as of September 2026, which disagree with each other more than usual — use them as a range.
Figures come from Here Comes The Guide, The Knot, WeddingWire and Zola listings; service charge and food-and-beverage minimums are not published. Confirm with the club's events office. Photographing Los Coyotes Country Club
We have not photographed a wedding here yet, so these notes come from the club's own plans, directory listings and other photographers' guides rather than from our own galleries — we are available for Buena Park and the rest of north Orange County.
The strength of the property is open space: the fairways behind the clubhouse give an uncluttered backdrop with nothing in it but grass, trees and sky, which is rare in Orange County. The lakeside lawn is the obvious ceremony frame, with the fountain behind the couple, and the terrace is where the sunset happens — plan the cocktail hour there and steal the couple for portraits on the course during it.
Indoors, the ballroom's floor-to-ceiling windows bring in daylight for the early reception, and the 18-foot ceilings keep flash bounce clean once the sun is down; the Cypress Palm Room's French doors are the fallback if the weather turns. The bridal suite is small and has no windows, so we would photograph the dress, details and the final touches in the ballroom or on the terrace instead.
Timing: aim the ceremony for about 90 minutes before sunset so the cocktail hour on the terrace catches the golden light, and note that packages run five hours for the reception with paid extra hours to an eight-hour cap.
