Sherman Library & Gardens
A 2.2-acre botanical garden blocks from the Corona del Mar coast — a recurring venue for us since 2022.
A botanical garden, not a banquet hall
Sherman Library & Gardens is a 2.2-acre horticultural garden in the heart of Corona del Mar, just blocks from the coast, with early California architecture and richly planted, mature landscaping throughout. Named spaces include the Tea Garden, Pepper Tree Patio, Central Patio Room, and a Tropical Conservatory glasshouse — each with a different mood, from open lawn to enclosed, jungle-dense courtyard.
Weddings here are evening-only, roughly 4:30–10pm, with an in-house catering requirement and a beer-and-wine-only bar policy. Capacity tops out around 160 guests outdoors, with indoor ceremonies capped closer to 100 — this stays an intimate-wedding venue by design.

A repeat venue in our Orange County bookings
We shot a wedding at Sherman Library & Gardens as recently as spring 2025, working alongside our own planning team for a full afternoon-into-evening coverage window, and we’ve also photographed a wedding here that paired a Vietnamese tea ceremony earlier in the day in Rancho Cucamonga with the ceremony and reception at Sherman that evening — the kind of multi-location, multicultural wedding day this venue handles well as a second stop. Independent couples have reached out to us specifically for weddings at this venue in multiple years since 2022, which tells us it’s a venue people return to and recommend, not a one-time booking.
