The role

Every wedding day, running on time

The coordination side keeps every wedding day running: booking crew, building call sheets, confirming timelines with planners and venues, and being the calm voice on the phone before and during the day.

What you’ll do

Los Angeles · Studio and on-site

  • Book crew and build the call sheet for every wedding
  • Confirm timelines with planners and venues
  • Handle contracts, certificates of insurance and vendor schedules as daily work
  • Be reachable when a vendor calls at 6am, and calm on a live wedding day

Hard minimums

Every one is required

  • Minimum two years in wedding, hospitality or event production — general office administration does not qualify
  • Verifiable references from planners, venues or vendors you have worked with
  • Fluent, precise written English — you will be writing directly to clients, planners and venue coordinators
  • Comfortable with contracts, certificates of insurance, timelines and vendor schedules as daily work
  • Calm under pressure on a live wedding day, and reachable when a vendor calls at 6am
  • Available on-site some weekends as well as in-studio during the week

How to apply

Three steps, read by a person

Every application is read by a person on our studio team, against the requirements above rather than the presentation.

01

Send your work

Use our application form. Name the role, tell us where you are based, and include the work and references the minimums above ask for. Anything missing and we cannot assess you.

02

Intro call

A fifteen-minute call with our studio team. We walk through your experience, how our wedding days run, what the role pays and how the studio works.

03

References

Before any offer, we contact the planners, venues or vendors you list and ask how you work under pressure.

Prefer email? Write to info@lulanstudio.com with “Event Coordinator & Studio Manager” in the subject line. Please don’t call, text or DM to check on an application — everything happens by email. Lulan Studio is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from every background.
