What Is a Garba & Dandiya Night?

The garba is a traditional Gujarati folk dance performed in concentric circles, often flowing into dandiya raas, where guests dance with decorated sticks. Held in the days before the wedding, it is a celebration of community and joy, with everyone from grandparents to little cousins joining in. Guests wear vibrant chaniya choli and kediyu, and the dance floor becomes a moving canvas of color.

We focus on the energy and connection: the spinning color of the skirts, the clack and rhythm of dandiya, the laughter between partners, and the elders watching with pride.
