Planning/What happens after you book
After you bookYou booked the date. Here’s what happens next.
The question we heard most this year was “who exactly will photograph us?” Here is how it works with us, from the day you sign to the day your gallery arrives.
- We areA studio, not an agency
- You talk withYour lead, before the day
- Photos4 to 8 weeks
- Films8 to 12 weeks
No surprises on the morning of your wedding. You will know who is coming, what they will photograph and when it all arrives.
Many couples told us about companies that send whoever happens to be free, or that go quiet after the deposit. We understand the worry, so here is exactly what happens at each step with us.
Your hours, your crew and even your team members can be changed after you book. Most couples fine-tune once they have a timeline.
A studio, not an agency
Every photographer and filmmaker on our team page works with us, and they are the people who arrive on your wedding day. You can see their work before you book, and you can ask for a specific person when you do.
With our Signature collection, Lulan or Alli photographs your wedding personally. Our Studio Team collections are photographed by the team. Both are on our rates page.

Family names, must-have moments and anything unusual: a ritual, a surprise, a charm on the bouquet. You don’t need a long shot list.
The timeline call
About a month before the wedding, our production planner walks through the day with you and your planner or coordinator, and shares the timeline with your crew.
The vision call
A week or two before, your lead photographer, and your lead filmmaker if you have video, talks through style, references and music while it is fresh.
The wedding day
Your crew arrives before your first scheduled moment and stays through the end of your booked coverage.
Your photographs
In four to eight weeks: every delivered photo edited, in full resolution, with no watermark and no cap on the number. Your online gallery never expires.
Your film
In eight to twelve weeks, with your raw footage delivered on a hard drive you provide.
What helps us most
Your family list
Names and groupings for family photos, and anyone who needs a seat or should be photographed early.
The unusual things
Rituals, surprises, a grandmother’s ring on the bouquet. We would rather hear about it twice than miss it.
Your references
A few photographs you love, ideally of real weddings, so we can see the feeling you are after.
Venue rules
Your coordinator’s contact and any rules about where photographers may stand, especially at churches and temples.

The vision call is our favorite part of planning. By the end of it, your photographer knows your grandmother’s name, the song you are walking to and the corner of the venue you love. On the day, that is what lets us disappear.

After you book, answered
Who will photograph our wedding?
A photographer from our own team, whose work you can see on our team page before you book. With the Signature collection, Lulan or Alli photographs your wedding personally.
Can we change our hours or our team after booking?
Yes. Coverage hours and team members can be changed after you book, and video can be added later.
When will we talk with our photographer?
Your lead photographer calls you a week or two before the wedding for a vision call, after our production planner has worked through the timeline with you.
Do we get RAW files?
We deliver finished, edited photographs rather than RAW files. Raw video footage is included with films, on a hard drive you provide.
How long do galleries stay online?
For life. Your gallery never expires, so you can share and download it whenever you like.

Still choosing? Ask us anything.
Book a call and ask the hard questions: who, how long, what if. We would rather you know everything before you sign.
