Venue by Three Petals sits on Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach and is an extension of Three Petals Floral and Event Design. It was conceived as a modern ceremony and reception venue, with indoor rooms and covered outdoor spaces, and it presents itself as a blank canvas where each event is custom-tailored. The fresh white interior and neutral palette are there on purpose, so florals and greenery carry the look of the day.
Guests arrive past a living green wall and wood doors into bright white rooms. Receptions take place under a large floral chandelier, around a white dance floor, and outside there is a terrace with white lounge furniture, clipped hedges and a grass-lined walkway. A bridal suite gives you a quiet place to get ready, or to rest for a few minutes before the ceremony begins.
Photographing weddings in a room built for flowers
We have photographed and filmed weddings at Venue by Three Petals, including days that begin with a church ceremony elsewhere or a tea ceremony at home and end here for the reception. The white rooms reflect light beautifully, so skin tones stay clean and the florals read in true color.
Many couples we photograph here leave for a short portrait set before the ceremony, often at Noguchi Garden in Costa Mesa, about ten minutes away, or at the beach, then return for an early evening ceremony. Evening ceremonies are lit by the venue's own lighting setup, and we add ours for portraits after dark.
