Jason Emeric photographs weddings and elopements across Las Vegas and the desert around it, from the neon of Fremont Street and the Bellagio fountains to the ghost-town signs of Nelson and the red sandstone of Valley of Fire.

He works with the light the place gives him: sun flaring low across a dry lake bed, open shade in a canyon, a street lit only by its signs. He keeps couples moving, walking, turning back, dancing, so the pictures feel like the day as it happened rather than a pose held for the camera. Wherever a couple says their vows, Jason makes sure the place they chose becomes part of the story.
