A tropical waterfront resort on Mission Bay

Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina sits on Quivira Road in San Diego, with views across Mission Bay, the Pacific and downtown. The grounds are planted with palms, flowering shrubs and spreading banyan trees, and the resort has its own full-service marina and day spa. Wedding spaces include the Sunset Terrace, the Banyan Lawn and Court, the Regatta Pavilion, and the Bayview and Mission Ballrooms, where the Bayview's floor-to-ceiling windows open onto the waterfront.

We have photographed weddings here and love how quickly the water comes into a portrait. A few steps from the lawns, the walkways lead down toward the marina, which makes a lovely, quiet setting for a first look with the boats behind you.
