Getting Ready at Bel-Air Bay Club
The club’s well-appointed bridal suite offers natural light and a quiet space for hair, makeup, and preparation portraits before the day begins. With nine guest rooms available on-site, couples and their wedding party can settle in at the club itself rather than coordinating a separate getting-ready location nearby.
Couple’s Session
Bel-Air Bay Club’s grounds give us a full range of backdrops for portraits without leaving the property — garden pathways and the Fountain Courtyard for intimate, shaded shots, the Grand Staircase for a dramatic entrance portrait, and the bluff-top lawn for wide ocean-view frames. The club’s west-facing position means golden hour lights up the coastline directly behind the couple, and beach access can be arranged for couples who want shoreline portraits as well.
Wedding Ceremony
Ceremonies typically take place on the Scenic Terrace or lawn, framed by the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Monica coastline beyond. The lawn holds up to 400 seated guests, giving couples room for both intimate and larger ceremonies with the ocean itself as the backdrop.
Wedding Reception
Receptions move into the Grand Ballroom or Formal Dining Room, which seats up to 275 guests beneath vaulted ceilings and large ocean-facing windows. Smaller receptions can also use the Living Room (120 guests) or Courtyard Patio (up to 200 standing), giving couples flexibility in scale without changing venues.
